Hours of Service

Daytime, Evenings

I specialize in Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), a model of therapy that has evolved from over 50 years of research. ISTDP has been shown to be effective for a broad variety of clinical issues, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and unexplained physical pain. I conducted research for 10 years on this model of therapy at the Psychotherapy Research Program at Harvard Medical School. I also teach and provide individual and small group supervision in this and other models of psychotherapy. My other primary area of focus is couple therapy, where I integrate techniques from ISTDP, Experiential Dynamic Therapy, and the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT). I also very much enjoy working with adolescents and young adults.
